Since 1968, photographer Franco Salmoiraghi has chronicled the people and places of the Islands. This collection of his portraits from the 1970s through the 1990s includes an Olympic gold medal winner, musicians, a kumu hula, a hairdresser, a shop owner and more. Combined, they present a portrait of a time not so long past.
