Aloha, Lost!

Hawaii says “Aloha Oe” to the cast and crew of the ABC hit mystery series, Lost. In this photo, actress Evangeline Lilly (who plays Kate Austen) waves to thousands of fans gathered in Waikiki for the beginning of the final season in January. The show wraps up its sixth season with the 119th finale episode on May 23. Since premiering in September 2004, Lost confused and delighted 18 million viewers with its time-twisting plot leaps and hidden imagery. Most scenes were filmed on Oahu, which stood in for everything from rural Iowa to Nigerian villages.
