Festivities are in full swing all day at Anna O’Brien’s this St. Patrick’s Day. The beloved pub is participating in the annual parade with a trolley that leaves from Anna O’Brien’s at 10 a.m., while live music from the Hell Caminos, Black Square and Stinkeye and sets by DJ Melincholy and ZKrazy fill the venue until last call. With no cover charge, all-day drink specials and corned beef and cabbage, St. Paddy’s Day at Anna O’Brien’s is the place to be.

St. Patrick’s Day Activities at Hawai‘i Children’s Discovery Center

Keiki and their families can participate in some festive hands-on learning at the Discovery Center, including sensory activities and games, making a St. Patrick’s Day inspired collage and crafting shamrock wands to take home.

59th Annual Waikīkī St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Tuesday, March 17, noon

This annual parade features hundreds of participants including community organizations, marching bands, groups from the military and keiki from schools. The parade is expected to last about an hour and a half and is the perfect family-friendly event to celebrate Irish heritage in Hawai‘i. Arrive early to find a spot along Kalākaua Avenue.

St. Patrick’s Day Crafts with the Hawai‘i State Public Library

‘Ewa Beach: Tuesday, March 17, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Keiki ages 5 and older can head over to the Hawai‘i State Public Library ‘Ewa Beach branch and learn to make shamrock paper crafts. Materials will be provided, and there is a limit of one craft per child. People requiring auxiliary aids or additional services for participation at library events should contact the library staff at least 48 hours before the event.

St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival

Tuesday, March 17, 4 to 10 p.m.

The St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival, hosted by Events International, is back for the first time since pre-pandemic days. This year, the free festival will be running on Fort St. Mall, with live music—including Celtic Pipes and Drums of Hawai‘i and a few local Irish rock bands—and enough corned beef and cabbage and Jameson and Guinness to satisfy the Irish in everyone.

St. Patrick’s Day Lucky Sips and Sunset Sets

Raise a glass of the Lucky Leprechaun cocktail to the Hideout at the Laylow Waikīkī for hosting a lively St. Patrick’s Day celebration, complete with extended hours, live music and a DJ. Feast on corned beef and cabbage egg rolls while enjoying a performance from Maile + JRoQ from 5 to 8 p.m., then dance to DJ Boseph until 11:30 p.m.
