The eighth annual Goodwill Goes GLAM! returns to the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall this July, kicking off with a gala and fashion show on Thursday, July 18, and one of Hawai‘i’s largest secondhand pop-ups from Friday, July 19, through Sunday, July 21. The four-day fundraiser will feature secondhand designer fashions, accessories, housewares and one-of-a-kind items donated by the community, all offered at bargain prices.

At the 2019 GLAM! Fashion Show & VIP Presale on July 18, guests are treated to a three-course dinner prepared by Mariposa executive chef Lawrence Nakamoto, first access to the GLAM! sale before the public, and exclusive viewing of the 2019 GLAM! Fashion Show. Legendary local designer Anne Namba leads this year’s show, titled “Legacy,” pairing some of her iconic past designs with curated pieces from Goodwill Hawai‘i. Tickets to attend the 2019 Goodwill Goes GLAM! Gala and Fashion Show can be purchased online for $25 or at the door for $30.

Each year, Goodwill Hawai‘i uses proceeds from Goodwill Goes GLAM! to continue its mission to help the state’s disadvantaged population find meaningful employment. With more than $400,000 raised in 2018, Goodwill Hawai‘i was able to assist more than 12,000 individuals with job training, counseling and placement programs statewide.
