Eat Local at 12th Ave Grill
12th Ave Grill will feature a special locally grown menu at its monthly Community Plate dinner.
The special dinner which already has a great cause with a portion of the gross sales donated to local charities, will take it a step further this month and feature a taste of Hawaii by featuring local produce, making it a truly community plate.
Offered on Monday, June 7th, 2010, 15% of gross sales from this dinner will be donated to the Life Foundation in Hawaii.
Here's a look at the menu:
Moi filet stuffed w/ Waialua asparagus pudding and local Meyer lemon hollandaise
*Optional wine pairing: 2008 Leth Gruner Veltliner, Austria 3oz
Maui Cattle Company N.Y. striploin with Kauai Shrimp and smoked Hawaii sea salt bordelaise
*Optional wine pairing: 2007 Biserno Insoglio, Maremma Tuscany Syrah-Merlot 3oz
Local made vanilla bean gelato sundae with Manoa honey, local pineapple & macadamia nuts
*Optional wine pairing: Muscat de Beaumes d Venice 2oz
The Local Prix Fixe dinner is available for $37.00 plus tax and tip. Optional wine pairings are also available for an additional $15.00. First seating (two hour reservation) at 5:30 & 6 p.m. with second seating at 7:30 & 8 p.m.
