New Keiki Boutique Opens in Ward Centers

The baby genius books? Over it. Breast pump? Awkward.  Duckie onesie set? Unoriginal.  A new school of cool baby gifts is exactly what you need to get the ooh-and-ahh present over which you (and the expecting honoree) will go gaga.

Luckily, Lynette Yi opened Leloa Baby Collections & Keiki Boutique. Its stock includes a mother lode of hip, hard-to-find labels. Yi  confesses, “I’m so passionate about finding the latest, most adorable things for my own child, and even my own mommy gear, so why not do it for all the moms in Hawaii?”

Trumpette Mimi shoes ($31).

On the racks, you’ll find Splendid striped onesies, Trumpette patent-leather Schleppbags, and little ella (yes, by Ella Moss) printed tunics and tights. Popping off the minimalist décor are Nursery Works tree-shaped bookshelves, Little Yellow Chick microfiber blankets in saturated pastels and Ajo. Bebe blinged-out wipe cases. All kid-tested and happily, mother-approved. Ward Centers, 591-1000.
