Shirley Temple and Duke Kahanamoku accept lei from adoring fans at Aloha Tower in 1937. This month is the last opportunity to see this and other historic celebrity photos from the Matson Navigation Co. archives, on display at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. The exhibit, entitled “Hollywood’s Golden Age in Waikiki,” includes shots of such stars as Bette Davis, Bing Crosby and Spencer Tracy, as well as local names including Hilo Hattie. Visit the collection at the Coronet Lounge, Royal Hawaiian Hotel, 2259 Kalakaua Ave., 923-7311.
