Give: Alex and Ani’s Lemonade Stand

Here’s a way to socialize and raise money for a good cause: Head on over to Alex and Ani at Ala Moana Center to shop its new summer collection. There will be light refreshments, including an energy punch to sip on while you browse the store. Fifteen percent of total sales will be donated to the nonprofit organization Alex’s Lemonade Stand, which raises money to fight childhood cancer. How sweet is that?

Attend: The Sailor Jerry Festival

To commemorate legendary tattoo artist Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins there will be an epic party in Chinatown—where Sailor Jerry opened his tattoo shop in 1960. That tattoo parlor is still there, now known as Old Ironside Tattoo, named after his talk-show alias. Learn more about the man who has a rum named after him. There will be tattoo specials, pin-up fashion shows, live art, vendor booths and music.
