Simply put, it’s going to help dad chill out.

  Honolulu Museum

Attend: Art After Dark

Friday, June 24, 6 to 9 p.m.

It won’t be a quiet night at the museum. This monthly art party combines art, entertainment and food all in one spot. Peruse history-changing archeological finds in Honolulu Museum of Art’s latest exhibit, Art in a Time of Chaos, and then participate in an art activity. DJ Jem will be spinning Chinese electro beats throughout the evening. Performances include a lion and dragon dance, and you’ll want to stick around for the Chinese-themed food items.

$10, Honolulu Museum of Art, 900 S. Beretania St.

  SurfJack Hotel Pool

Shop: Poolside in the Pacific

Saturday, June 25, 2 to 6 p.m.

Every summer has a pool party you don’t want to miss, and this summer is no exception. Waikīkī’s hip new hangout, The Surfjack Hotel + Swim Club, is throwing its first official pool party, and you’re invited. Sport some throwback threads to this retro-inspired event, where you can kick it poolside, sipping on drinks. You’ll also get to shop pop-up shops from Bikini Bird and Roam Hawai‘i.

Ages 21 and up, The Surfjack Hotel + Swim Club, 412 Lewers St.

Shop: Secret Record Store

Saturday, June 25, 2 to 8 p.m.

Psst. If you want to expand your vinyl collection, we know where to go. Stop by Secret Record Store’s pop-up at Downbeat Lounge. This mobile pop-up sells vinyl albums ranging from punk rock to Latin jazz to soul and reggae. Enjoy an afternoon cocktail while you’re browsing the selection and listen to music selections from DJ Monkey, JohnJohn and DJ Jet Boy.

Play: Bottoms Up! Yoga and Social

Sunday, June 26, 10 a.m. to noon

Let it flow! And by that, we mean the good energy, and also the drinks that will be available at this yoga sesh. The second Bottoms Up! event will include an hourlong yoga session. Just remember to bring your own mat and arrive by 9:45 a.m. A little sunscreen wouldn’t hurt, either, since the class will take place outdoors. After that, socialize over beer flights, cocktails or—for those who don’t want alcohol—mocktails. There will also be raffle drawings for goods and services from CorePower Yoga, Lash Up Studio, Shaka Juice and Waikīkī Brewing Co. Namas-YAY.

$20, Waikīkī Brewing Company, 1945 Kalākaua Ave. For more information and to purchase tickets, go here.
