Here Comes the Funny Tour
Sunday, March 26, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
If you’re in the mood for a laugh, enjoyed Happy Gilmore and felt The Ridiculous 6 deserved more than its 4.9 out of 10 IMDB rating, then saddle up for this weekend, when professional funny people Adam Sandler, David Spade and Rob Schneider take the town by storm. The comedic trio stops in Honolulu on Sunday to kick off the Here Comes the Funny Tour, a stand-up comedy adventure that sets the stage for Netflix’s upcoming Sandy Wexler, a film centered around talent manager Sandy Wexler (played by Adam Sandler) and his many eccentric clients (Spade, Schneider and Nick Swardson, among others) looking to make waves in show business. Be ready for some quick wit, raunchy fun and quintessential Sandler yelling.
$52.50–$135, Neal S. Blaisdell Center, 777 Ward Ave. For more information and to purchase tickets, go here.
Sip + Shop at BLT Market
Saturday, March 25, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Beautiful, local, trendy—that’s what we think BLT should stand for this Saturday. Local fashion lovers and visitors looking for unique Hawai‘i items to gift loved ones back home will want to run, jump, stroll or saunter into Waikīkī’s BLT Market (located in The Ritz-Carlton Residences) for its first-ever Sip + Shop event, which will feature four emerging local artisans, complimentary prosecco, 15 percent off the market’s brunch menu and up to four hours of parking validation—so stay awhile, why don’t you?
Blue Bird Jewelry Hawai‘i
Jana Higa’s handcrafted jewelry line focuses on “wearable luxe”—timeless pieces designed herself using freshwater pearls and semiprecious stones hand-picked for vibrancy, faceting, luster and uniqueness.
Kehau Nielson, who put herself on Honolulu’s fashion radar with clutches repurposed from vintage Hawaiian clothing, will debut her new line of customizable handbags (read more about these literally made-for-you accessories here).
Lauren Roth Art
Taking inspiration from Hawai‘i’s flora and marine life, Lauren Roth creates art and fashion accessories with an ethereal quality using juicy bursts of color and playful design.
