The Paʻakai We Bring

A show that introduces young audiences to Native Hawaiian ideas of balance and healing by exploring our relationship to pa‘akai (salt). Inspired by the real-life stories of the 26 Hawaiian families who tend the Hanapēpē salt beds on the island of Kauaʻi, this production opens this weekend before going on a school tour in October and November. It returns to Tenney Theatre for performances in December.
