Held every March, the Honolulu Festival celebrates our Island cultures and promotes ethnic harmony between Hawai‘i and our neighbors across the Pacific Rim. Over the three-day event, locals and visitors can mix and mingle over a lineup of cultural performances and workshops, local food fests, craft fairs (including pop-up shopping by Hawai‘i’s own Art + Flea), a friendship gala and the 5K Ekiden relay race, concluding with a grand parade and spectacular fireworks show in Waikīkī.

Association of Hawai‘i Artists Aloha Show
Now through March 22
Founded in 1926, before the existence of the Honolulu Academy of Arts, the Association of Hawai‘i Artists comprised a small group of artists and art lovers eager to share their creative passions and promote O‘ahu's growing arts community. The 48th annual Aloha Show, featuring paintings, photography, sculptures and more by AHA members, is a showcase of the impressive local talent that can be found in our state. The best part? All artwork is available for purchase.

Arts and Flavors of Hawai‘i Spring Festival
Sunday, March 11, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Arts and Flavors of Hawai‘i returns with its seasonal pop-up marketplace this Sunday in Hawai‘i Kai. Shop a dozen local fashion and beauty brands including Kira Hawai‘i, Coco Moon, Natural Aloha and Bub and Bean, plus a special O’Neill sample sale with brand-new merch to wear on your next beach day. Nine food and drink vendors, including Ma‘ona Musubi, El Chino Loco, Wicked HI Slushie and The Stick and The Ball, will be offering bites and sips to help keep your shopping strength up. Don’t miss balloon twisting for your little ones, offered 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

HONOLULU Family Fun Run Presented by First Hawaiian Bank
Saturday, March 31, 7:30 to 10 a.m.
Lace up your shoes for the HONOLULU Family Fun Run presented by First Hawaiian Bank, Saturday, March 31, 7:30 a.m. at Ala Moana Beach Park. Family members of all ages can enter the 5K fun run, a leisurely walk/run filled with selfie stops, snack stations and entertainment. Kids ages 3–10 can also participate in a 500-meter keiki dash. Afterward, head over to the keiki fun zone for games, a bouncy house and more.
