Easter falls on April Fool’s Day this year, but when it comes to brunch, we never joke around. This weekend, hop your way over to an Easter brunch, celebrate one beloved local brewery’s three-year milestone, have an above-ordinary K-pop experience and get the family together for a morning of fun and fitness.

You may (or may not) outgrow the egg hunts, but you’re never too old to enjoy a great Easter brunch buffet. Here are nine brunch options on O‘ahu where you can celebrate eggs with bacon, mimosas, French toast and tasty times with friends or family. Plus, head to HONOLULU Family’s Easter Corner for fun keiki-approved D.I.Y.s, scheduled Easter Egg hunts and the best places to celebrate spring with your little ones.

Waikīkī Brewing Co. Third Anniversary

Saturday, March 31, noon to 10 p.m.

Don’t they grow up so fast? Waikīkī Brewing Co. hits a new milestone, celebrating three years in business with an anniversary party. This year, lovers of the local business can cheers to beer at not one but two locations. Head to Waikīkī or Kaka‘ako (or both—Waikīkī Brewing will have a shuttle going between the two each hour courtesy of Honolulu Brews Cruise) and be the first to try its third anniversary barley wine, plus a number of special beers saved for that night. Enjoy your pint at the Waikīkī pub with fresh-grilled burgers and brats, a live performance by Elephant and corn hole games. At the Kaka‘ako pub, enjoy live music by Mike Tulba, food specials and a dunk-the-brewer game that blows beer pong out of the water. Brewers Joe Peay Lorenzen, Eric Peay, Matt Kat and Nathanial Anderson will each spend an hour at the mercy of Waikīkī’s beer-guzzling guests in order to raise money for their chosen charities.

Above Ordinary Hawai‘i

Sunday, April 1 at 7 p.m.

Above ordinary is an accurate description for a multiple-threat talent like Jay Park. The Korean-American singer, dancer, producer, model and owner-CEO of Korean indie hip-hop label AOMG (Above Ordinary Music Group) has been wowing international fans for years. This weekend, Hawai‘i will get a special one-night-only concert featuring the label’s best-of-the-best up-and-coming talents: Hoody, AOMG’s first signed female recording artist; PH-1, an underground hip-hop prodigy; and Jay Park himself. Fans will also want to check out the A6ove pop-up shop on Saturday, noon to 6 p.m. at Vizume (1232 Waimanu St., Second Floor) for the chance to score official A6ove merchandise including a limited-edition Hawai‘i tee, plus meet special guests Hoody and DJ Pumkin.

HONOLULU Family Fun Run Presented by First Hawaiian Bank

Saturday, March 31, 7:30 to 10 a.m.

Lace up your shoes for the HONOLULU Family Fun Run presented by First Hawaiian Bank, Saturday, March 31, 7:30 a.m. at Ala Moana Beach Park. Family members of all ages can enter the 5K fun run, a leisurely walk/run filled with selfie stops, snack stations and entertainment. Kids ages 3–10 can also participate in a 500-meter keiki dash. Afterward, head over to the keiki fun zone for games, a bouncy house and more.
