At Mango Jam Honolulu, try mango-inspired cocktails from Tiki’s Grill and Bar, dine on tasty treats from food booths, shop at the farmers market, and listen to live music from local artists, including four-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award winners Kapena and the Mana‘o Company. There will even be a mango barbecue cook-off between the chefs behind Vino Italian Tapas & Wine Bar and Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar.

Kapu‘uola Hula Festival

Saturday, June 30, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

As the only hula festival on the west side of O‘ahu, the Kapu‘uola Hula Festival is spreading Native Hawaiian culture to a whole new demographic. This noncompetitive outdoor hula festival will feature 10 hālau, two Hawaiian music groups, and 30 craft and food vendors. Through the use of chant and mele both new and old, this festival showcases and celebrates the performance skills of Native Hawaiians.

Modern Mai Tai Pool Party for International Mai Tai Day

Saturday, June 30, noon to 5 p.m.

As one of the most iconic cocktails of Hawai‘i, the mai tai deserves its own day. On June 30, International Mai Tai Day, the Modern Honolulu is hosting a Modern Mai Tai Pool Party to celebrate. Dip your toes into the Sunset Pool, dine on food specials, listen to live music and enjoy a mai tai concocted by special guest bartender, Jen Ackrill, who has been creating cocktail programs for more than 20 years.

Blue Planet Surf 25th Anniversary Celebration Auction

Saturday, June 30, 6 to 7 p.m.

Locally developed surf brand Blue Planet Surf caught a wave toward long-term success in 1993 when founder Robert Stehlik conceptualized the company for a business project at UH Mānoa. This Saturday, to celebrate 25 years in business, Blue Planet Surf is having a special daylong sale followed by live music by Darin Leong and Jon Yamasato, catered food and drinks and a live auction of 20 boards, including stand-up paddleboards, race boards, foil boards and surfboards. A portion of the profits will be donated to AccesSurf, a Hawai‘i-based nonprofit that aims to create community programs so that anyone, including those with disabilities, can enjoy the ocean.
