Chinatown Taco Bar Crawl
Saturday, June 29, noon to 7 p.m.
Who doesn’t love tacos? The Chinatown crew celebrates their love for the tasty Mexican food this Saturday with a Cinco de Mayo-style bar crawl. First head to Nextdoor for registration, then make your way to the six participating bars for specials on food (your ticket gets you three tacos), beer and tequila. Stop by the various DJ booths to dance off that taco food baby, then go back and do it all over again.

Super Saturday at HiSAM
Saturday, June 29, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A special summertime event geared at families, this Saturday Hawai‘i State Art Museum invites parents and keiki to spend some quality time with an art-packed afternoon featuring block printing, watercolor collage making, a photo booth and more, plus food vendors and a live performance by Kailua Moon.

Streetlight Cadence

Hawai‘i-grown alt-pop quartet (and two-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winner) Streetlight Cadence returns to O‘ahu this Thursday, bringing its experimental folky sound to The Republik for an all-ages show. Group members will be performing tracks off their newest album, Momentary, an entirely self-produced and engineered collection of anthems, ballads and headbangers characteristic of the band.

ARTafterDARK: Murder Mystery
Friday, June 28, 6 to 9 p.m.
The Honolulu Museum of Art spices things up on Friday with an artsy party inspired by Art Deco, the Jazz Age and the classic game of Clue. There’s been a mysterious murder at the museum, and it’s your job to catch the killer. The game will have you playing detective, visiting galleries and vendors in search of clues to solve the whodunit.
