If you’re done reflecting back on the past decade, immerse yourself in the ’90s when All-4-One takes the stage at the Blue Note Hawai‘i. The four-man group (all original members by the way) will play six shows in Waikīkī so feel free to swear, by the moon and the stars in the sky, that you’ll be there.

2020 Sony Open
Thursday, January 9, to Sunday, January 12, 6:30 and 9 p.m.
The buzz began with the practice rounds on Monday, but you’ll really want to watch the pros tee off beginning with the first round on Thursday. If you plan to spend a day on the course, backpacks and large bags are not allowed. Bring sunscreen and a light jacket and be ready for potentially windy weather. Or, if you would rather to see each shot close-up, without all that walking, the Sony Open will be broadcast live on the Golf Channel.

AIA Architectural Walking Tour
Saturday, January 11, 9 to 11:30 a.m. Register by January 9.
Go for a walk through the architectural history of Honolulu with the American Institute of Architects. You’ll learn the back stories of key buildings stretching from Hawai‘i Theatre to Washington Place. When we joined the tour, we visited 24 sites along an easy-to-walk path. You might want to bring a jacket. Rain is in the forecast but we bet showers won’t dampen the enthusiasm of the tour’s passionate guides.

UH Men’s Volleyball in the Raising Cane’s Rainbow Warrior Classic
Hawai‘i vs. Harvard, Thursday, January 9, 7 p.m.; Friday, January 10, 7 p.m.; Hawai‘i vs. Grand Canyon, Saturday, January 11, 7 p.m.
The top-seeded NCAA volleyball team opened last weekend by sweeping Charleston, West Virginia, and netting a Big West Conference Freshman Player of the Week award for UH’s Guilherme Voss. This weekend, Hawai‘i hosts the Rainbow Warrior Classic to take on Grand Canyon, Harvard and Emmanuel. So wear green and white and get ready to cheer.
