The dating struggle is real, and the award-winning Story Party Tour is in town this Thursday to share the best of the worst tales of ghosting, unsolicited pics, cat fishing and heartbreak at a one-night-only show. Brought to life by professional storytellers, this hilarious (and utterly relatable) collection of anecdotes will rid you of those holiday blues and leave you rolling with laughter over others’ misfortunes in love. Mele Kalikirocka

If you’d rather OD on eggnog than listen to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” again on the radio, maybe it’s time to switch your sounds up. Star 101.9’s first-ever Mele Kalikirocka will have you rockin’ around with performances by indie-pop groups Lovelytheband and Flora Cash, and music newcomer Jenny Yim kicking things off as the show’s opening act. The event is open to all ages, though all minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Hawai‘i Bowl

Saturday, Dec. 22, at 5:30 p.m.

Don’t miss our UH Warriors face off against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at Aloha Stadium. This year marks the first time Louisiana Tech will appear in the bowl game, now in its 17^th year (this will be UH’s eighth year). ESPN will air the game live. Catch you on game day!
