The beachy summer beer fest returns to the Hilton Hawaiian Village for a fifth year, bringing with it more than 100 types of beer, plus wine and signature cocktails, to sip and savor over live music by Willie K, Shar Carillo, Lana Kei & Da Famili and San Diego-based Johnny Cash tribute band Cash’d Out. General admission tickets are $60 and include 10 4-ounce tastings. For $20 more, you can get a VIP admission ticket, which includes early entry and exclusive access to additional beers. For the real MVPs of the night, the event has a special designated driver admission ($45), which includes 50% off nonalcoholic drinks and complimentary parking.

Honolulu Night Market: Endless Summer Lūʻau

Saturday, Aug. 24, 6 to 10 p.m.

Grab your friends and family to celebrate the last days of summer at Honolulu Night Market: Endless Summer Lū‘au. The popular evening event takes over Salt at Our Kaka‘ako and surrounding areas with food vendors, pop-up shopping and live music, plus a just-for-the-kids Keikichella stage featuring art, games and entertainment by some of the island’s talented pint-size performers. Pusong Filipinx

Head to the Entrepreneurs Sandbox in Kaka‘ako for the second-ever Pusong Filipinx, a pop-up market featuring Filipino food, traditional Filipino dance and local small businesses selling art, fashion and more (check out @pusongfilipinx on Instagram for more information on participating vendors). New this year, Pusong Filipinx will host a panel talk with local small-business owners who will share their experiences as entrepreneurs and how they embrace their Filipino American identities through their brands.
