Get ready for some country fun at the ʻIolani Fair. This year’s theme is “Barnyard Bash” so be on the lookout for farm animal-themed games and fun. For all the foodies out there, this fair knows how to dish it up. You can try lobster and shrimp rolls in the gourmet tent, chef demos—with tastings!—bulgogi wraps and all-new on-the-go snacks and a mysterious malassada dessert. Grand Lānai Restaurant Week
Now through Sunday, April 14
With five days to go, there’s still plenty of time to check out International Market Place’s annual week of dining before it ends on Sunday. Nine restaurants—ranging from the award-winning Herringbone to local favorite Goma Tei—join in on this year’s foodie festivities with new dishes and prix fixe menus offered at special prices. George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic

First came his memoir, then a set of albums. Now this tour caps off the end of funkmaster George Clinton’s days on the road. Hawai‘i is one of the 77-year-old’s three stops before his official farewell in May, just a few months after he received the lifetime achievement award at the Grammys. He’ll play four shows here, then he’s gone.
