What to do: Chinese New Year events
Sunday, Feb. 10 marks the start of the Year of the Snake, but festivities to celebrate the Chinese New Year have already begun and will continue through early February. Here are some of the events to mark on your calendar:
63rd Annual Narcissus Festival
Along King, Maunakea, Smith, Pauahi and Nuuanu. The evening will begin on South King Street with a traditional Chinese lion dance blessing (Choy Cheng). The Narcissus Queen and her court will then visit Chinatown businesses and their patrons.
