What: You would never wear something everyone else had, so why would you eat in a restaurant everyone else can try? Get the jump on the next here today, gone tomorrow pop-up restaurant, Plancha. Chef Robert McGee, known for his tasty dishes at Apartment3 and 12th Avenue Grill, plans prix fixe menus centered around local ingredients and a 36-inch flat top griddle (known as a plancha). The high heat is perfect for searing and caramelizing items such as the charred baby beets with Naked Cow Dairy cheese, or akule a la plancha with papaya, Ho farms tomatoes, and cucumbers.
When: Dinners are limited to 20 people on Sept. 4, 5, and 6 at 8 p.m. Make your reservations now.
