Where: The Venue, 1144 Bethel St.
Details: $5 for students and seniors, $8 general includes admission to the opening night party to follow. See the full schedule of anti-violence events on Girl Fest's website.

Design Up
What: Use your morning venti cash to support local designer Katrina Langford. The creator of HI State of Mind's chic clothing and accessories created out of vintage scarves is fundraising to rebrand, expand, and hire seamstresses. Pledges start at a dollar, but five or more will come with a thank you gift like Langford's Mai Tai necklace (right) going to those who give $90.
When: Until February 26. If the $7,000 goal is not met all pledges will be canceled.
Details: Read more about the project and see Langford's designs on her kickstarter campaign.
