Read

English Lit. Up
What: Remembering falling in love with Catcher in the Rye in eighth grade? J.D. Salinger totally, like, got you. Get your angst out during some #tbt emo time with three previously out-of-print Salinger stories, published as one book earlier this month. The stories, titled “The Young Folks,” “Go See Eddie” and “Once a Week Won’t Kill You,” are from the 1940s, the author’s early years. Your middle school English teacher would be so proud of you.
Where: amazon.com
Details: The book is $13.18 before shipping.

Watch

Mad Maxim
What: The trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road, the post-apocalyptic action-flick remake of the 1979 Mel Gibson film, was just released, and it’s everything you’d expect: blood, scary villains and lots of testosterone. But the scene-stealers were top models Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Riley Keough, Courtney Eaton and Zoe Kravitz as a crew of desert beauties. With that much fashionable pedigree on the cast, will Mad Max prove to be the most unexpectedly stylish movie of 2015?
When:The film’s release date is currently May 15, 2015.
Details: Let’s just hope Rosie does a better job acting than she did in Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
