ahalo to my colleagues—we are honored to have been selected for Honolulu Magazine’s Best Dentists in Hawaii for 11 consecutive years. On behalf of our entire team, we are grateful to be acknowledged for our work and dedication to our patients.

We are grounded in general dentistry with an additional focus on treating patients with Sleep Disordered Breathing (SDB) which includes Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS).  We accomplish this by collaborating with a diverse and caring group of healthcare providers.

There is a growing public awareness of health related diseases that are associated, if not directly related, to SDB…Hypertension, Arrhythmias, Stroke, Cardiovascular Disease, Dementia including Alzheimer’s, ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and others. 

Since 2017, the American Dental Association recommends that dental patients be screened for signs and symptoms of SDB as Dentists may be amongst the first of healthcare providers to detect SDB. Research indicates that how our upper and lower jaws develop from infancy to adulthood directly influences our potential to have SDB.
