Lei Chic's Honolulu Night Market debut with HonHI Hawaii
Spend the Night

Huh. You take one day off and all sorts of crazy things happen:
- Hillary Clinton joins Twitter. The "hair icon, pantsuit aficionado, glass ceiling cracker" amassed nearly 450,000 followers with just one tweet.
- Justin Timberlake reveals a strangely suggestive, optical illusion-centric cover for his newest single. (We'll never look at his nose the same way again.)
- Lei Chic unveils its new Pinch of Salt booth, debuting this Saturday at Honolulu Night Market.
Oh wait. That last one's actually happening right now…
Here's our breaking news. When you hit Honolulu Night Market this Saturday, you'll spot a new addition to the shopping lineup: us! Every month, the Pinch of Salt warehouse will include a local designer hand-picked by Lei Chic, complete with stylish new offerings and, of course, a special discount just for you.

Say hello to our very first designer: HonHI Hawaii. We first caught wind of Melyssa Davan-Takenouchi's polymer clay, Marc Jacobs-inspired jewelry a year ago and were so impressed, we named her one of HONOLULU Magazine's best local Etsy crafters. Her newest collection, Ethnic Geometric, is just as fun. The Kapahulu designer uses polymer clay to create her own colored beads, then strings them into eye-catching tribal necklaces and earrings (one of our editors already has a necklace in regular rotation).
Stop by our booth this Saturday and you'll be able to snag these new pieces at an exclusive discount: regular shoppers will automatically score 20 percent off, but mention Lei Chic and Davan-Takenouchi will shave off an extra five percent. Plus, enter to win a special prize package, which includes beauty goodies and a pair of HonHI Hawaii earrings. For real.
Because, unlike JT, illusions just aren't our style.
Visit HonHI Hawaii in the Pinch of Salt warehouse at Honolulu Night Market this Saturday, 6-11 p.m. at 683 Auahi St. Mention Lei Chic to get 25 percent off the new Ethnic Geometric collection. For more information on Honolulu Night Market, click here.
