What: As we mentioned Thursday, THEFACESHOP's third Oahu store is now open in Waimalu Plaza. What we didn't tell you is that, thanks to a larger retail space, this location offers (free!) weekend soap- and fragrance-making classes. We chose our favorites from scents and ingredients like lavender, orange, tea tree, and volcanic clay, and 30 minutes later, we had an adorable molded soap, perfectly suited for our skin type.
When: Saturdays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sundays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., though the store is open daily.
Where: Waimalu Plaza Shopping Center, 98-1277 Kaahumanu St.

What: Milk & Honey is holding a massive close-out sale as its lease inside the Blaisdell Hotel ends. The boutique has not yet found a new location, so everything must go. All apparel will be slashed 50 percent with items priced between $5-$25.

What: This girl is on fire. First, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard was featured in Vogue. Now, the Hawaii congresswoman has been named one of The Hill's 50 Most Beautiful People. Truth be told, we never knew such a thing existed and, clicking through the rankings, we're not entirely sure how this list was compiled.
