On July 30, the Honolulu Museum of Art hosted its monthly Art After Dark Event. This month's theme was Body of Art, giving a deeper look into the works from their Tattoo Honolulu exhibit.

On July 26, the Public Relations Society of America held its 29th annual Koa Anvil Awards dinner to honor the best of Hawaii's PR industry. This year, the event took place at the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki.

The University of Hawaii at Manoa's East-West Center honored the Honorable George R. Ariyoshi, former Governor of Hawaii, with the Asia Pacific Community Building Award.

On July 25, HONOLULU Magazine's annual Best Doctors in Hawaii celebration was held at the Kahala Hotel & Resort.

The Joy of Sake, the largest sake tasting event outside of Japan, featured more than 360 sakes in peak condition.

The inaugural Equality Gala was held at the oceanfront Kathy Ireland estate on July 20 to benefit the Equality Hawaii Foundation.

On July 14, the Hawaii Korean Chamber of Commerce held the annual Korean Festival at Kapiolani Park in Waikiki. The event presents authentic Korean culture through food, dance, art, music and entertainment.

On July 12, the Marie-Chantal boutique celebrated its first anniversary at DFS Galleria Waikiki with mini cupcakes, face painting, balloons, music and bib embroidery. Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece personally attended the event to cut the birthday cake.

On July 7, the Kumu Kahua Theatre hosted their annual Kala-Bash Fundraiser and silent auction at their location on 46 Merchant Street.

This month's Art After Dark at the Honolulu Museum of Art is inspired by one of their current exhibitions, Hiroshige: An Artist's Journey.
