Honolulu Night + Market: Sip Of Summer

June’s Night Market celebrated the sights, sounds, fashion, food and libations of summer, with new retailers including local handmade swimwear lines, lots of smoked and BBQ meat outside, and a cocktail and local food pop-up behind the vendors’ warehouse by Kau Kau Grill and local breweries Mehana, Hawaii Nui, Ocean Vodka, Kona Brewery and more.
In the Kakaako Agora warehouse at 449 Cooke Street, waves of Post-Its lined the walls at the “Water Is…” interactive photo and educational exhibit.
Next door, local fashion retailers like Vermilli, House of Aria, Manaola, VH07V, Green Mountain Hawaii, Andy South and Bikini Bird were extremely popular with shoppers.
The fashion show by Mikinola featured swimwear and light, flowing summer designs styled by owner and stylist Dara.
