HONOLULU Family’s 2023 Cover Kids Search presented by Kapolei Commons

We’re looking for kids with great smiles and bubbly personalities to feature in HONOLULU Family in 2023!

Keiki from the islandwide Cover Kids search will be featured in HONOLULU Family in 2023! More are also selected throughout the year for an opportunity to participate in photoshoots for the magazines and honolulufamily.com.

Kids must be between the ages of 1 and 12 by Oct. 1, 2022 and be a resident of O‘ahu.

ENTER IN-PERSON

Join us at Kapolei Commons for three in-person Cover Kids Search events! Bring your keiki ages 1 to 12 to one of the three scheduled events below, where they will be entered for free (each entry typically costs $10 per child) and have a chance to show off their star quality in a photo shoot, where a professional photographer will capture your kid’s best side. We’ll add their photo to the 2023 Cover Kids presented by Kapolei Commons contest online. Plus, enjoy fun, keiki-friendly activities during each event!

Oct. 8, 4 p.m.–6 p.m.: Keiki facepainting, glitter tattoos & free Crumbl cookie for the First 100 kids
Oct. 22, 10 a.m.–12 p.m.: Balloon twisters & character meet-and-greet with Elsa, Spider-Man and Bluey
Nov. 5, 10 a.m.–12 p.m.: Keiki lei craft with Moana and Maui

Cover Kids are selected through a combination of readers’ votes (50%) and editorial votes (50%). Readers are allowed to vote once, per day, per child, per IP address. Do note that if multiple people are on the same IP address, they may not all be able to vote. Here is the timeline.
