Core knowledge, critical skills and Christian character form the foundation of Hanalani Schools’ outstanding curriculum. Nestled on six beautiful acres in Mililani, Hanalani has nurtured, challenged and equipped students for success in both college and life for more than 65 years. With 600+ students from Preschool through Grade 12, Hanalani provides a healthy and safe environment that offers both individualized learning and a robust array of classes, clubs, teams and opportunities.

We uphold excellence and safety in all that we do.

Real-World Learning

Our Academics Plus approach focuses on students gaining real-world experience through hands-on projects and interdisciplinary lessons. Our curriculum is based on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math). Over the years, Hanalani students from elementary and up have: converted school buildings to LED lighting, saving $17,000+ in annual energy costs; re-imagined and designed our library to be a space for 21st century collaboration; designed a new school playground based on best practices and ADA compliance; and more.

A Values-Driven Community

Hanalani’s faculty and staff provide a nurturing environment that teaches students to love God and others. Through caring mentorship and a culture of faith, Hanalani students develop strength, character and lifelong values. We focus on developing the whole student — mentally, physically and spiritually. Our school community is a unified and supportive ‘ohana where every student feels seen, valued, accepted and celebrated to become the best that they can be.

Our Commitment to Families

Hanalani is committed to assisting families with affording a private school education for their child. Our Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) provides need-based financial assistance up to 50% of tuition, and our Royal Merit Scholarship for students in grades 7-12 is a merit-based award of up to $2,000 annually. We also off er the Thomas J. Vincent Foundation Endowed Scholarship, which covers up to 100% of tuition for new students entering grades 7-12.
