Thousands descended on Kapiolani Park Saturday for the Okinawan Festival, which over two days is expected to draw about 50,000 people. In its 31st year, the Okinawan Festival is a big Labor Day weekend destination for food, entertainment, culture and activities.

The festival continues Sunday from 9 a.m.; Craft Gallery and Children’s Games close at 4:30 p.m.; most food booths & tents close at 5 p.m. For more information, here’s our full festival preview.
