Sustainable Coastlines Hawai‘i is Asking For Your Help To Stop Plastic Pollution

The more donations Sustainable Coastlines Hawai‘i receives for their latest fundraiser, Turn Off The Tap On Plastics, the more people their knowledgable staff are able to educate and inspire to get involved and take action to combat plastic pollution. The nonprofit’s programs are funded by the community, so even small donations can make a big change. Donate as little as $10 per month or you and your ‘ohana can start your own fundraiser!, sustainablecoastlineshawaii

Via Gelato’s Pumpkin S’mores Is Only Around For Two More Weeks

Sorry, but pumpkin pie has nothing on the November specials at Via Gelato. Even the pickiest eaters will go gaga for this month’s ice cream sandwich flavor. After all, who doesn’t love s’mores? Pumpkin spice gelato, house-made dark chocolate fudge and torched marshmallows are sandwiched between graham crackers and the result is truly heavenly. In the spirit of giving thanks, I have to say my whole family is very thankful for this Kaimukī dessert spot.

Shop Local at Mai Hawai‘i, a New Pop-Up Shop at International Market Place

On Black Friday, five female founders behind some of Hawai‘i’s most beloved brands are opening a pop-up shop at International Market Place. Lucky for us, the women behind Ao Organics Hawai‘i Skincare, Mahina Made, Mohala Eyewear, Mo‘o Hawai‘i, Onepa‘a Hawai‘i and Yireh have come together to showcase their brands under one roof just in time for the holidays. At Mai Hawai‘i (which means from Hawai‘i), you can expect exclusive items, limited-edition pieces and holiday deals. It’ll be a great for gifts, but you’re going to want to buy for yourself, too (don’t say I didn’t warn you).

Mai Hawai‘i pop-up shop, Nov. 25 through Dec. 25, International Market Place, 2330 Kalākaua Ave.
