As an independent college preparatory school for girls in grades 6–12, students are encouraged to use their voices, explore their passions and discover their purpose.

At La Pietra, we believe cost should never be a barrier to a quality education, and we are proud to award nearly $600,000 in tuition aid annually. Each year, approximately 50% of students are able to afford a private school education through need-based financial aid and/or merit scholarships, making enrollment accessible and affordable for all families.

With over 100 course offerings, La Pietra offers a variety of electives, college preparatory classes and Advanced Placement courses for students to choose from. Our partnership with Global Online Academy (GOA) and One Schoolhouse enhances our purpose-driven curriculum and offers the opportunity to connect with other students from different cultures. La Pietra’s multidisciplinary Women’s and Gender Studies program explores topics ranging from gender identity and women in the modern workplace, to perspectives in women’s history.

La Pietra’s supportive and connected community is the best place for today’s young woman to fully become herself and to realize her purpose. Our small-school environment allows students to grow in confidence through unique leadership opportunities including peer leadership, student government, student-led clubs and community service organizations like the National Honor Society. And for all the student-athletes out there, there are 17 sports to choose from! In fact, nearly 65% of students take part in interscholastic athletics.
