Winners will be featured in the December 2008 issue of HONOLULU and eligible for cash and other amazing prizes from the Hotels & Resorts of Halekulani, including vacation stays and spa services.

OFFICIAL RULES AND ELIGIBILITY
➢ Photos must be the original works of the photographer.
➢ Photos must not have been previously published, HONOLULU retains first-time rights to the winning photos.
➢ Photos must be shot in Hawaii between August 2007 and August 2008.
➢ Photos must be entered in one of three categories: PORTRAITS, THE NATURAL WORLD, THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT, though no more than 2 entries per photographer.
➢ An official entry form must accompany all entries (print or digital).
➢ Digital submissions are welcomed, but size limitations may apply (less than 1 MB).
➢ Print submissions are also welcomed, but should include an entry form on the back of each print. Print submissions should also be limited to 8.5” x 11”. Anything larger will be disqualified. All submissions must fit into an envelope no larger than 9” x 12”.
➢ If sending print submissions, please do not send originals. Materials will not be returned.
➢ All entries must be received by August 25, 2008 11:59 PM (HST).
➢ Contest is open to everyone, except employees of PacificBasin Communications, aio LLC and its affiliates, Hotels & Resorts of Halekulani and immediate families of and their affiliates.
➢ HONOLULU and Hotels and Resorts of Halekulani reserve the right to publish all submitted photos in print and on the Web. |
JUDGING➢ Entries will be judged by the editorial and design staff of HONOLULU, staff of Hotels and Resorts of Halekulani and prominent leaders in the arts and photography fields.
➢ All entries will be judged anonymously. The photographer’s name should not appear anywhere on the photo. |
DEADLINE➢ Entries must be received via digital submission or delivered to our office no later than 11:59 p.m. on August 25, 2008.
➢ Mailed entries must be postmarked by August 22, 2008. |
