Saint Francis School

Saint Francis School’s longstanding reputation as a mighty force in athletics is matched by its excellence in STEAM (science, technology, arts and math) academics. Future innovators thrive at this picturesque, historic school located in the heart of Manoa Valley.

Earning astonishing levels of financial aid, 99 percent of Saint Francis seniors consistently matriculate to college. The class of 2018, with a total of just 65 students, received more than $7 million in scholarships.

What makes Saint Francis School one of Hawai‘i’s top private schools is our highly educated and caring faculty, our rigorous curriculum (audited annually to reflect current standards of academics) and small class sizes. Our strong campus ministry program and a powerful sense of ‘ohana help develop happy, secure and community-minded students. Saint Francis sees every child as unique and capable of learning in our safe, friendly and academically challenging school environment.

Preparing young people for success in today’s rapidly changing world starts with a solid foundation in academics, athletics and Christian ethics. We are committed to supporting boys and girls from preschool through 12th grade to become lifelong learners in the spirit of joy.

A vast array of extracurricular activities complements the academic program: Aloha Show, school plays, Mu Alpha Theta, National and Junior National Honor Societies, marching band and many more. We offer multiple sports including football, baseball, basketball, bowling, cross-country, golf, paddling, air riflery, soccer, track and field, volleyball, softball, wrestling and tennis.
