CaraMiya adds apparel to swim line

Stroke of Genius

Great news. You no longer have to wait 30 minutes to swim after you eat.

In fact, you can pretty much do anything after eating. Like shopping. Or even swimming, then shopping. Oh, snap.

Which means you'll be just fine diving into CaraMiya's brand new apparel line right after devouring her collection of incredibly chic swimsuits.

CaraMiya Davies-Reid made a splash back in 2010, offering up boned bandeaus with contrast piping, convertible triangle tops that can be worn five different ways, and flattering bikini bottoms that offer the perfect blend of comfort and coverage.

Now, the Maui designer is taking the plunge into apparel, using woven textiles and fabrics from India to create airy, colorful pieces that pair perfectly with her swimsuits. So you can spend a morning on the beach, then throw on a striped sundress or breezy floral skirt for lunch with the girls. And yes, it's totally okay if your bikini peeks through.

The line will be available at Davies-Reid's shop, Indigo Paia, starting next week, but you'll have exclusive first access to it at Lei Chic's Pop-Up Boutique Friday night.

Because we know how tired you are of waiting.

$38-$56 bikinis, $30-$170 apparel. CaraMiya is available at Indigo Paia, 149 Hana Hwy., Maui, and on Etsy.
