Pole Position

www.leichic.com Your current  workout: monotony on the cardio machines or jogging trail (usually involving wheezing and panting). Stringy sweaty hair. Damp stinky clothes.

Nothing sexy about it.

You want a hot, new workout? Head to The Private Gym on Ward Avenue , the new location for a full schedule of pole dancing classes from Fit for a Goddess.

Since 2005, Fit for a Goddess owner and founder Ilana Fernandez has been helping women get in shape and improve crucial core strength by teaching incredible stunts and sexy strength-building moves once reserved only for strip clubs. The routines – strictly for fitness, and always nudity-free – are challenging, and by the time you’ve mastered one, your svelte, toned bod will show the work you’ve put in.

The classes are for women only, to make everyone feel safe and uninhibited – because every move in the class is frisky, including the provocative warm-up.

Check out tonight’s intro “teaser” class, or jump right in to the new session that starts tomorrow.

So, you think you can dance?

Fit for a Goddess pole dancing classes are held at The Private Gym, 320 Ward Avenue, Suite 201 , as well as locations in Kailua and Pearl City . Call 808.262.6979 or check www.fit4agoddesshi.com for registration and class info.
