Almost Famous

www.leichic.com Some quick experiences are indisputably unsatisfying (just think about it), but most events that last just a few minutes are undeniably good—like short commutes or five-minute ab workouts. But bad or good, who turns down three seconds of fame, even the kind you can only brag about to friends?

Former windsurfing photographer Cynthia Thompson’s Studio Surf Shots helps you achieve that fame by transforming you into a big wave surfer.

Visit her Haleiwa studio so she can snap a professional photo of you in the correct position, then she’ll Photoshop your best shot into a picture of a big Pipeline wave. In an instant there you are, surfing in the pit at Pipe, with the “evidence” to prove it.

After your three seconds are up, send in your mom, sister—even your favorite keiki—for a fun gift, invitation cover, or wall decoration. Cynthia can also place your chosen photo on the backs of playing cards, help you create a personalized collage or storybook, and of course does a variety of portraits, including those for high school seniors, hula studios, babies and families.

So show your surf shot to your friends, watch them do a triple take, then tell them: No autographs, please.

Pacific Life Images, Haleiwa Town Center, 66-145 Kamehameha Hwy. 808.754-5897. View her work online at: www.cynthiathompsonphotography.com
