The Shows Must Go On
What: A
little song and  a little dance has  a lot of impact in two performances tonight. Cherry Blossom Cabaret’s musical mash-up of Romeo & Juliet, Femme Capulet, is making its debut. Iona Contemporary Dance Theatre brings back one of its most ambitious shows, Destiny, which was originally in rehearsal when terrorists attacked the twin towers on Sept. 11.
When: Femme Capulet is tonight, next Fri. and Sat. at 7:30 p.m. Destiny is 8 p.m. tonight, 4 p.m. tomorrow.
Where: The ARTS at Marks Garage, 1159 Nuuanu Ave. Destiny is at Hawaii Theatre, 130 Bethel St.
Details: Purchase $25 tickets to Femme Capulet here or call 1.800.838.3006. Destiny tickets are $25-$65 through the Hawaii Theatre, 808.528.0506.

Watch
Biting Commentary
What:
Skip the murders, scandals, and bad sex scenes of summer reruns for a debut that's eternally in good taste. Honolulu Magazine's John Heckathorne's new show, Biting Commentary, hits the air. You'll want to see what he cooked up with Alan Wong and why the award-winning chef  deemed the noted gourmet "Hack-a-thorn".
When: Sunday, 2:30 p.m.
Where: KGMB
Details: Read Heckathorne's account of the first filming right now in his blog.
