You flipped over the slow-cooked flavor of their gourmet Big Island beef burgers. But you'll need to speed up for a shot at EAT Catering & Cafe's intimate dinner. The special five-course EATnPrivate event is limited to the first 10 lucky diners to sign up. We're already getting a rush from Chef David Passanisi's one-night-only menu (revealed this morning) which includes crispy skin weke with a banana blossom, fresh water chestnut and hearts of palm salad and char siu prawns with crispy pork belly, sesame ferns and a coconut vinegar glaze.
When: Reservations are accepted now for tomorrow's dinner, 7 p.m.

Straight From the Source
Steep yourself in Hawaiian culture at the first Kumu Ao (Learning from the Source) Festival. You'll get hands on with free how-tos on lomilomi massage, kapa dyeing, fish hook carving, and sculpting by expert Hawaiian practitioners.

Tear yourself away from the visual noise of his new solo show to chat with Lo, then view, for one-night only, the debut of his newest video installation.
