Bags, Totes and Pouches from White Crane Accessories

Handmade carriers for every occasion? Yes, please.

You bird-watchers may have already spotted this brand’s brood of shoppables (we know we went cuckoo over the wet bags back in December), but there’s a new migration coming in from the east that we can’t help but crow about.

We’re talking about the latest from White Crane Accessories, of course, the Maui-based bag brand that always has your beak when it comes to chic ways to stow. Full-time mom and totes-creative entrepreneur Charlene Rex-Waller started her business when her daughter was born so she could stay close to the nest while she worked. Now, Rex-Waller hawks her creations in locations as close to home as Sugarcane Shop and as far afield as The Spa at The Mandarin Oriental in Washington, D.C., in addition to her convenient online store.

Why suddenly flock to her shop now? The White Crane Accessories yoga bags are our new fair-feather friends for our weekly workouts. With a combination of bright and bold solid colors and Rex-Waller’s signature soft patterns, these wonderfully crafted chickadees are all made to order and are fully lined, with enough space to fit regular or extra-long mats and even a small zippered pocket for stowing little thises-and-thats

They’ll infuse a little style into our in-studio selves, but, even better, they’ll pair with our other White Crane fave, the ombre canvas tote, a summer staple that comes in a range of vibrant, beach-ready colors and is roomy enough for your shoreside A–Z essentials. All of these fly bags are adorned with the lovely White Crane leather tag, one of the attention-to-quality details that puts Rex-Waller’s work at the top of the pecking order.

Now that is something to take a gander at.

$30–$60, whitecraneaccessories.com.
