Styled's Play

Lei ChicFamily shopping day means quality time with your favorite style friends.

You: Max Azria, Michael Kors, and Diane Von Furstenberg.

Your little one: Dora, Elmo, Princesses Belle, Jasmine, and the whole castle crew.

You just said goodbye to onesies and are bracing yourself for Hello Kitty. And though the cast of characters in her closet is cute, you wish you could give your future fashionista a style boost that won’t turn into a “what was mom thinking” moment in her wedding slideshow.

Lei ChicTake a time out. A favorite island designer has just relaunched kids’ pieces tie-dye for.

Little Indah, the playful girls’ line by Kauai’s Libby De Santis , disappeared in 2009. This week, the 18-item collection returns to Hawaii stores and thankfully, it’s anything but all grown up.

The purple-and-orange swing dress is perfect for picnics in the park. When an imaginary friend turns up for tea, the tiered-teal sundress fits the occasion. You’ll want to romp when she dons the vibrant butterfly one piece, or cuddle her to sleep in a cozy turquoise-fringed capelet with a burst of fuschia. Lei Chic

Little Indah comes in sizes 2 to 6 and starts at $25. So turning your little one into a little diva is a piece of keiki.

That is, now that you’re Indah know.

Little Indah is being sent out this week to boutiques such as Aloha Aina , Guava Shop , and the Spa Luana Boutique at Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu, Hanalei Surf Company and Backdoor on Kauai, Nuage Bleu on Maui, and multiple locations of San Lorenzo. The collection will be available on Indah's website in the nest few months.
