Week in the Knees

HONOLULU Fashion Week to debut in November

HONOLULU Fashion Week

So many things can happen in two days. Take this weekend, for example.

The Seahawks slaughtered the Broncos. Hermione and Ron may need a marriage counselor. Bruno Mars tickets sold out in nanoseconds (check your Facebook feed for this one).

And we announced the launch of HONOLULU Fashion Week.

Mark your calendars because come November, HONOLULU Magazine will debut a must-see, two-day international fashion extravaganza in collaboration with Japan Fashion Week. Details are still being finalized, but here's what we know so far.

The following fashion-forward labels from the U.S., Europe and Asia will be paired up with Hawaii designers and artists to create exclusive collaborations.

International Collaborators

HONOLULU Fashion Week

Saturdays Surf NYC (New York) / Corto Moltedo (Milan) / Maison Kitsune (Paris) / Mr. Gentleman (Tokyo)

Local Collaborators

HONOLULU Fashion Week

Sig Zane / Kaypee Soh / Heather Brown

Don't worry. Unlike the morning's elusive concert tickets, you'll be able to get your hands on these amazing creations at a jaw-dropping pop-up shop, along with curated collections from some of Hawaii's top and up-and-coming designers.

We'll also fill this space with an amazing lineup of runway shows, music and equally stunning, delectable dishes that blend local and Japanese flavors.

As always, keep checking Lei Chic for the latest developments. We'll update you every stylish step of the way.

HONOLULU Fashion Week will take place on November 7 and 8 during Hawaii Fashion Month. Follow #HONOLULUFW for the latest on social media.
