Fair Leather Friends

www.leichic.com

The spring forecast for fashion: buckle up for a long season of belt tightening.

So you’ll be wearing your closet’s current dresses a few months longer – and needing some way to make your old favorites feel new.

The new spring line from local leather accessories label Cirque is just the ticket.

Designer Alfonsina Ladogana’s collection of sash belts has expanded to include sandal styles this season, like a lace-up gladiator and a two-tone pump, plus fresh twists on dress-up www.leichic.comslippers. But the belts are the hides to seek. There are new skinny double- and triple-buckle styles, wide wrap-arounds with bow-tie fronts or chunky wood buckles, and even metallic belts with chain accents.

Add one on to your pencil skirts, maxi dresses, even over tunic-length T-shirts, and you’ve a got a whole new look that’s a cinch.

Turns out your closet is a total waist land.

Cirque Leather’s new spring belts and shoes will be available to purchase online later this week, and will be in stores in March.

May 2012 Update - Cirque Leather's website has been disconnected. You can purchase belts by Alfonsina at Drift Boutique, 3434 Waialae Ave. #4,
and Florencia Arias Boutique , 1161 Nuuanu Ave.
