Sweet Shop

www.leichic.com Your favorite holiday treats? Frosted sugar cookies, candy canes, peppermint brownies, and a few festive additions to your closet.

Find your way to the new Dolce boutique at Ward Center, which just opened Friday. Owner Christie Yang has stocked up on labels and lines from the East Coast that haven’t been available in Hawai‘i before. And as the name suggests (dolce means “sweet” in Italian), the shop is filled with feminine and pretty dresses, tees, jeans, purses and jewelry.

Like the Calypso silk dresses in vivid, eye-catching jewel colors that are perfect for holiday parties (and for everyday too since they’re hand-washable). Pick out one of the oversized envelope clutches from JJ Winters, also in bright colors, or a Helena de Natalio foldover pouch bag handmade in Brazil from suede and python patches.

And you can re-stock on basics and accessories too: on the shelves are super-soft tees for layering, everyday maxi dresses and delicate gold and silver jewelry.

That should satisfy your taste for treats and keep you looking pretty sweet.

Dolce boutique, Ward Center adjacent to The Seasonal Store, 808.596.9436.
