Weekend Picks - August 30, 2012
Karl's in Charge
What: The sophomore collection for KARL, Karl Lagerfeld's lower-priced-yet-still-pretty-darned-expensive line, hit Net-a-Porter yesterday. This time around, the fashion guru broke up his signature black-and-white palette with modern, camouflage prints and a flaming orange faux leather mini skirt. Apparel prices range from $85 for a printed racer-back tank to $6,070 for a beaded organza dress. Our pick: an adorable Abbey faux pearl collar for $115.
Details: Click here to shop (or drool).
What: Normally, we reserve our sale listings for Saturday, but these two can't wait. Mellow Antique's buy one, get one 50 percent off deal (which applies to both fine and fashion jewelry) ends tomorrow, while Guava Shop's annual Tent Sale, featuring lust-worthy items from Indah, Splendid, Free People and more at up to 70 percent off, ends Saturday (a North Shore trip usually requires advanced notice).
