Whisky Business
What: Enjoy a gourmet dinner paired with premium scotch. Tod Turner, Master of Whisky (a way cooler title than sommelier) will lead you through a meal that includes watermelon salad with Drambuie pomegranate dressing, kalua pig, smoked beef brisket, and a cigar to top it off.

Trash to Treasure
Shop and see UH fashion design students compete to turn recycled trash (plastic bags, soda cans, newspaper and the like) into fabulous garments and accessories.
Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon.

En Garde

What: Get nine of the girls together and get to the Avant Garde Fashion Show, where tables of 10 get a free bottle of champagne and pupus. Jane Metcalf of JAM Design Concepts will show her Goodwill Hunting Collection and proceeds from auction sales of clothing and jewelry go to a future event sponsoring no-kill animal shelters.
