All Jammed Up

I found this photo while trawling through the Hawaii State Archives the other day. The caption reads "Saturday - Oct. 1, 1955, 10:30 a.m., Fort and King St." This view is looking up Fort Street (You can just barely see the sign for the Blaisdell Hotel on the upper left.), which these days hosts only foot traffic.
