WHO: Beth Carvin, Honolulu and Kaua‘i, CEO and founder of Nobscot.com, a human relations software company that specializes in employee retention.

WHAT: Creator of JamBios, a website where anyone, singly or in a group, can write and exchange their stories. JamBios also offers channels for distribution and even publication within the JamBios community.

WHY:  “I work in the tech industry. The inspiration started with my own family’s group email they used to tell and collect stories about the bar my father and uncle grew up in. From there I did the research and then got it going; two years ago we decided to go full force. We’re now up to almost 10 employees.”
