While Hawaii state Senators rake University of Hawaii administrators over the coals for getting swindled by shady concert promoters, Hawaii Reporter has done something interesting: reporters Malia Zimmerman and Jim Dooley flew to Miami to track down Epic Talent itself, the company that claimed to represent Stevie Wonder and which received $200,000 from UH to set up a Wonder concert at UH. Among their findings: Epic Talent appears to operate out of nothing more than a mailbox in a Mirimar, Fla., UPS Store. Read the whole thing for much more detail.
